I mentioned in my Things Change post on Wholesome Works that I was blogging on a new computer, and I am. The computer is an Asus R1h convertible tablet pc, meaning that it has a swiveling lid and a touchscreen.
The computer is wonderful, as most new things are, and is probably the first electronic device that I have owned (except for, perhaps, my wristwatch?) that could have been considered “up to date,” if only for the five minutes after I had bought it. It runs XP Tablet PC Edition, which is an offshoot of XP Pro. It also has an Express Card reader, MMS Card reader (think of the little memory card that pops out of your digital camera), and a DVD/CDRW drive. It also includes a fingerprint reader, which is very convenient for signing into Windows, although it has made me a little lazy
I purchased with the computer Ms Office ’07 Basic. With World, Excel, and Outlook, I able to do everything that looks like work more efficiently than even, that is, after I became used to using the programs. As for the fun stuff such as creating the graphics for this site, I loaded an older program of mine that wasn’t designed for XP, or a tablet pc, but runs very well on this computer.
Anyway, I am enjoying this computer and look forward to blogging on it for years to come...
If Microsoft will let me:)

Cool computer! Cool effects on your template too.
Anon,
Thank you for your kind words. If you have a blog, I wouldn't mind leaving a few comments over on it.
